  • Fly like a bird on tandem flights or paragliding lessons with Libre comme l'Air in the Campan Valley.
  • Cool snow sports at two ski resorts. Payolle: cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and ski trekking on 50km of trails through the forest and around the lake…magical! 
    100km of slopes at Mongie Grand Tourmalet ski resort: skiing, sledding, snowshoeing, mountain biking, ski biking, tubing and big airbag…thrills and fun!
  • Cycle on the road or mountain, the choice is yours! Tour de France fans pedal up Col d'Aspin and Col du Tourmalet our soak up the beautiful Pyrenees scenery on 1600km of mountain bike trails.
  • Médous Grottos: Explore countless stalactites, stalagmites and flowing calcite slides on a 1km trail. The tour includes a 200m boat ride beneath the Adour. Refreshing!
  • Pic du Midi: Take a 15 minute cable car ride from La Mongie (Grand Tourmalet ski resort) to the top of the 2877 peak. Snow sports fans can ski down the mountain with a guide and a 1500m difference in altitude. Adrenalin-pumping stuff. Stunning!
  • Wildlife Park in the Gaves Valley in Argelès-Gazost: marmots, brown bears, otters, wolves. Spend a half-day getting up close and personal with the Pyrenees’ flora and fauna. Watch the wildlife show and see the Eagle’s Tower, home to eagles, vultures and other birds of prey. Your kids will love it!
  • Go on a 30 minute drive to visit Lourdes, its sanctuaries, château, museums and more.
    Venture a little further to reach Tarbes and its stables, Hussar Museum and Massey grounds which are all a sight for sore eyes. Put history and heritage into your holidays!
  • On the other side of Tourmalet: Gaves Valley and its three cirques (Gavarnie, Troumouse and Estaubé), Gaube Lake and Vignemale on the horizon, Azun Valley and its bucolic landscapes...unique!
